Louis Tamis and Sons continues to meet the needs of the jewelry industry by manufacturing its own product lines as well as designer collections and retailer special orders in our New York facility.
Our knowledge of technology and ability to handle rush orders of the highest quality separates us from manufacturers who are hindered by the fluctuations of foreign currencies and uncertainties of offshore production.
Above all is our commitment to customer service and our willingness to do whatever it takes to please our customers.
Beautiful things are what dreams are made of, and Louis Tamis has been making them for more than a century.
Founded in New York in 1909 by Russian-born jeweler Louis Tamis, the company became the country’s premier manufacturer of gold boxes and objets d’art. In the late ’30s, Tamis met Paul Flato, a retailer with a keen eye for design, and their association produced money clips, pens and cuff-links.
The business continued to flourish. Louis’ sons, took over the company in 1948 and the company became one of the top high-end jewelry manufacturers in America.
Today, the 4th generation of the Tamis family continues to make special order requests for over 500 clients, retailers and renowned designers.
